IYC Stages 'Peaceful Satyagraha' After President's Arrest Over Shirtless Protest

Indian Youth Congress (IYC) held a "peaceful satyagraha" protesting the arrest of its national president Uday Bhanu Chib and other workers.
•
Chib was arrested by Delhi Police following a shirtless protest by IYC workers at the AI impact summit in New Delhi.
•
IYC workers had removed their shirts to reveal T-shirts with anti-government slogans and against the India-US interim trade deal.
•
The protest occurred inside Hall No 5 of the summit venue before security personnel intervened.
•
IYC stated, "We are the voice of India, we are not afraid of dictators. We fight for the Constitution and we live for the country."
