Jharkhand: Light Rain from March 7, Mercury to Rise After Showers

Parts of Jharkhand are likely to experience light rainfall from March 7 to March 9, triggered by an upper trough.

Following the showers, the mercury is expected to rise further, with maximum temperatures increasing by 2-3 degrees Celsius.
•
The upper trough is spread across Odisha and Bihar, affecting Jharkhand's southeast and eastern regions.
•
Chaibasa recorded the highest temperature at 36.4°C, followed by Daltonganj (35.2°C) and Jamshedpur (35.1°C).
•
State capital Ranchi recorded 30°C, while minimum temperatures fluctuated between 11-17°C, with Gumla at 11.4°C.
