JPSC Age Cut-off Date Revised to 2022, CM Announces in Assembly

Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren announced the JPSC age cut-off date has been revised to 2022 from 2026.
•
The previous cut-off date for the Jharkhand Public Service Commission examination was August 1, 2026.
•
Student organizations had demanded the revision of the age criteria to 2018.
•
The issue of age criteria was raised in the state assembly by Dumri MLA Jairam Mahto and Congress legislator Pradeep Yadav.
•
Other issues discussed included rising cybercrimes, narcotics-related crimes, and manpower shortage in departments.
