Karnataka Minister urges calm amid LPG shortage; Hotels asked to switch to electric stoves

•Karnataka Food and Civil Supplies Minister K H Muniyappa appealed to the public not to panic over the LPG shortage caused by the West Asia conflict.
•He urged hotels to temporarily switch to electric stoves, noting that 1,000 LPG cylinders per day are earmarked for the hotel industry.
•Essential services like hospitals, educational institutions, and railway canteens are receiving 100% supply, accounting for 5,200 cylinders daily.
•The state is permitted to use 9,500 LPG cylinders daily, with 4,200 for essential services and 4,200 for domestic consumption.
•Muniyappa cautioned against panic booking and expressed hope for improvement next week as additional shipments are expected.
