Karnataka Seeks Rs 3,052 Cr for Irrigation Projects, Centre Responds Positively

•Karnataka government seeks early approval for irrigation projects worth Rs 3,052 crore under central schemes.
•Proposals submitted under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY) and Repair, Renovation and Restoration (RRR) schemes.
•State has committed 40% of funding; remaining 60% expected from the Centre.
•Minister N S Boseraju met Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti V Somanna for expedited clearances.
•Discussions also held with Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu on Raichur airport and Kalaburagi flight revival.
