• Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan declared assets exceeding Rs 1 crore in his nomination papers for the Dharmadom assembly constituency.
• His assets include over Rs 45 lakh in movable assets (bank deposits, shares) and over Rs 56 lakh in immovable property (residential property, agricultural land).
• Vijayan's wife possesses movable assets worth over Rs 60 lakh (including 80 grams of gold) and immovable property valued at Rs 36 lakh.
• The Chief Minister reported an income of Rs 5.33 lakh for FY 2024-25, while his wife's income was Rs 5.77 lakh.
• Vijayan is currently facing six cases, including one under the Prevention of Corruption Act (SNC-Lavalin matter) and an ED investigation related to Masala Bond funds.
