Kerala Polls: 1,202 Candidates File Nominations as Deadline Ends

•A total of 1,202 candidates filed nominations for the Kerala Assembly elections by the deadline on Monday.
•Polling for the 140 constituencies in Kerala is scheduled for April 9.
•The Election Commission received 2,039 nominations from the 1,202 candidates.
•Scrutiny of nominations will commence on Tuesday.
•Goods worth Rs 2,968.16 lakh were seized as part of election enforcement activities, and 41,388 posters/hoardings were removed.
