Latur Teacher Arrested for Sexually Harassing 13-Year-Old Student

• Amit Yadav, a private coaching classes teacher in Latur, was arrested on Thursday for allegedly sexually harassing a 13-year-old student.
• The victim reported being harassed by Yadav, a science teacher, since April 13 last year.
• Yadav allegedly contacted the minor on a messaging platform, made inappropriate comments, asked her for a relationship, and threatened her.
• In June last year, he reportedly stopped the girl after class and inappropriately touched her.
• The girl, encouraged by a friend and school counsellor, reported the incident to her parents, leading to the arrest at Shivaji Nagar police station under POCSO Act and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
