Law Student Dies by Suicide in Lonavala Gorge During Solo Trip

• A 19-year-old law student, Shriya Pati from Navi Mumbai, died by suicide in Lonavala, Maharashtra.
• She left home on January 30 for a solo trip, telling her parents she would return by evening.
• Pati visited Dukes Nose and then Tiger Point, from where she allegedly jumped into a 300-foot gorge.
• Her bag, found by a local tea stall owner, led to her parents and police being alerted.
• Her body was retrieved on January 31 with the help of a drone, and Lonavala rural police registered an accidental death case.
