Mamata Advances Yuvasathi Scheme Launch for Unemployed Youth to April 1

• West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee announced the early rollout of the ‘Yuvasathi’ unemployment allowance scheme.
• The scheme will now launch on April 1 instead of the previously scheduled August.
• Educated unemployed youth will receive a monthly allowance of Rs 1,500.
• Eligibility criteria include passing Madhyamik (Class 10) exams and being aged 21-40 years.
• Beneficiaries remain eligible for existing scholarships but not other state welfare schemes.
