Man brutally kills father-in-law with hockey stick in UP's Hardoi

• A 50-year-old man, Ashok Babu alias Pinna, was allegedly beaten to death by his son-in-law in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh.
• The victim was returning home with his sister, Alka, after offering prayers when they were intercepted by the accused, Manmohan alias Mannu.
• Manmohan allegedly assaulted Babu with a hockey stick, repeatedly hitting him on his head and body, causing him to collapse.
• Babu was declared dead at Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Farrukhabad; his sister was injured in the attack.
• Police have registered a case and formed teams to arrest the accused; the motive behind the crime is yet to be ascertained.
