Man Kills Lover, Dies by Suicide in Muzaffarnagar Over Impending Marriage

• A man allegedly killed his lover by slitting her throat before dying by suicide in Bhalwa village, Muzaffarnagar.
• The deceased were identified as Pragati (27) and Rohit (30), who had been in a two-year relationship.
• Pragati's marriage was fixed for February 8 with another man, which was against the couple's wishes.
• Rohit reportedly entered Pragati's house, slit her throat, locked the room, and then slit his own throat.
• Police have sent the bodies for post-mortem and deployed additional security in Bhalwa village.
