Marathwada Rains: 2 Dead, 230 Villages Hit, 19,000 Hectares of Crops Damaged

•Unseasonal rains and hailstorms in Marathwada damaged crops in 230 villages.
•Two persons, Digamber Belkunde (60) and Vishakha Yelkewad, died due to lightning strikes in Latur and Nanded.
•Over 27,000 farmers suffered losses on approximately 19,000 hectares of land.
•Latur, Beed, and Nanded districts were severely affected, with Latur recording the highest crop damage.
•Four animals also perished, and 14 'kutcha' houses sustained partial damage.
