Massive Fire Engulfs Delhi Fish Market, Destroys 400 Slums; No Casualties Reported

A fire broke out at Matiala village fish market in Uttam Nagar, Delhi, late Wednesday night around 11:50 pm.
•
Flames rapidly spread to nearby slums, destroying approximately 300 to 400 homes.
•
Delhi Fire Service deployed 23 fire engines and brought the blaze under control by 3:45 am on Thursday.
•
No casualties or injuries have been reported; the cause of the fire is currently unclear and under investigation.
•
Separate fires also occurred in Noida (private company) and Gorakhpur (clothing shops) around the same time.
