MCD bulldozes encroachments in Uttam Nagar, clears public road

•MCD conducted an anti-encroachment drive in B-Block, JJ Colony, Hastsal, Uttam Nagar on Saturday.
•Unauthorised thadas, stairs, and temporary sheds outside approximately 70 shops were removed.
•The operation cleared nearly 380 meters (760 sq meters) of public road, restoring space for pedestrians and vehicles.
•This action is part of an ongoing enforcement campaign in the West Zone, with similar drives conducted earlier in Vishnu Garden, Milan Market, and Pankha Road.
•The drive follows a recent clash in JJ Colony where Tarun was killed, triggering demands for action against illegal establishments.
