• Akash Chandra Pujari (20), a Dahisar resident, died after his motorcycle collided with a container truck on Mumbai-Nashik Road.
• The accident occurred near the Kharegaon toll plaza in Thane district around 5:48 am on Thursday.
• Pujari was en route from Thane to Nashik, reportedly heading to Trimbakeshwar temple with friends, but was riding separately.
• The container truck driver fled the scene following the fatal collision.
• The incident caused a traffic jam for approximately an hour on the busy Mumbai-Nashik Road.
