Mumbai Court Acquits 5 Haryana Cops, 2 Others in 2016 Gangster 'Encounter' Case
•A Mumbai court acquitted five Haryana police personnel and two others in the alleged fake encounter of gangster Sandeep Gadoli in 2016.
•Additional sessions judge Prashant Kale found the accused not guilty of murder and other charges.
•Gadoli, a 'notorious' gangster with a Rs 1 lakh reward, was killed in a Gurugram police shootout at an Andheri East hotel on February 7, 2016.
•The prosecution alleged a conspiracy involving rival gang leader Virendra Gujjar and the accused cops to kill Gadoli, luring him with his 'girlfriend' Divya Pahuja.
•Despite 43 witnesses and extensive technical evidence, the judge acquitted all accused, with the defense claiming false allegations under pressure from Gadoli's family.
