Mumbai Court Acquits 5 Haryana Cops, 2 Others in 2016 Gangster 'Encounter' Case

• A Mumbai court acquitted five Haryana police personnel and two others in the alleged fake encounter of gangster Sandeep Gadoli in 2016.
• Additional sessions judge Prashant Kale found the accused not guilty of murder and other charges.
• Gadoli, a 'notorious' gangster with a Rs 1 lakh reward, was killed in a Gurugram police shootout at an Andheri East hotel on February 7, 2016.
• The prosecution alleged a conspiracy involving rival gang leader Virendra Gujjar and the accused cops to kill Gadoli, luring him with his 'girlfriend' Divya Pahuja.
• Despite 43 witnesses and extensive technical evidence, the judge acquitted all accused, with the defense claiming false allegations under pressure from Gadoli's family.
