Nanded Woman Takes Class 12 Exam With 10-Day-Old Baby, College Sets Up Special Facility

• Shital Chandrakant Chitte, 21, appeared for her Class 12 Maharashtra board exam with her 10-day-old baby in Nanded.
• She had also taken the English exam just two days after delivery on February 10.
• People’s College authorities set up a 'Matrusneh Kaksha' (mother-friendly room) with a cradle for her baby.
• Chitte stated she had no one to look after the baby as her husband works during the day, emphasizing the importance of the exam for her future.
• Nanded education officer Madhav Salgar and Maharashtra board’s Latur divisional president Sudhakar Telang praised the initiative, calling it a first in the state.
