Naxal Arms Manufacturing Network Dismantled in Chhattisgarh; Huge Cache Recovered

  • Security forces recovered a large amount of raw materials for weapons and explosives from a Naxal hideout in Narayanpur district, Chhattisgarh.
  • The recovery included 1,300 iron pipes, 200 aluminium rods (over 1,000 kg), 61 BGL shells, 21 small BGL shells, 46 BGL-fitted bows, and 14 empty SLR magazines.
  • The operation was conducted by a District Reserve Guard (DRG) team in Koraskodo-Pangud-Kandulpar villages under Sonpur police station limits.
  • This success significantly disrupts the Maoists' arms manufacturing capabilities in the region.
  • A new security camp was recently established at Koraskodo by district police and BSF to strengthen the security grid, as part of the "Maad Bachao" anti-Naxal campaign.
