NDMC Launches 'Water ATM' in Nehru Park, Plans 50 More for Summer Action Plan

• NDMC inaugurated a 'Water ATM' in Chanakyapuri, Nehru Park, to enhance access to safe drinking water.
• This is the first of 50 additional Water ATMs planned under NDMC's Summer Action Plan.
• Water ATMs will be installed in all schools and more public places, including JJ clusters, offering free services.
• Currently, 37 Water ATMs are operational in NDMC areas, with 17 on payment basis and others free.
• NDMC receives potable water from Delhi Jal Board via major treatment plants like Chandrawal and Wazirabad.
