Newly-married couple drowns in Haryana's Nuh canal

• A newly-married couple, Sadiq and Hansira, drowned in the Gurgaon Canal in Jaisinghpur village, Nuh district.
• The incident occurred on Thursday evening when Hansira slipped into the canal.
• Sadiq jumped in to save her, but both were swept away by the strong current.
• Police, with the help of local residents, recovered their bodies.
