NSE Profit Plunges 37% to Rs 2,408 Cr in Oct-Dec Quarter

• NSE reported a 37% year-on-year decline in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 2,408 crore for the October-December 2025 quarter.
• Total income for the quarter fell 9% to Rs 4,395 crore compared to the previous year.
• Sequentially, PAT increased 15% and total income rose 6% in Q3FY26, indicating an improvement.
• These results are the first since Sebi granted an NOC for NSE's proposed IPO, clearing a decade of delays.
• NSE contributed Rs 41,842 crore to the exchequer during the nine months ended December 2025, including STT/CTT, stamp duty, income tax, GST, and Sebi fees.
