Odisha CM Flags Off 250 New Ambulances to Boost Emergency Health Services

• Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi flagged off 250 new ambulances to strengthen emergency health services.
• This is the second phase, following 150 ambulances launched on December 23, bringing the total to 400 new ambulances.
• The state government invested approximately Rs 111 crore from its own resources for this fleet.
• The initiative aims to ensure timely emergency health services and reduce patient travel time to hospitals.
• Ambulance services will be extended to airstrips like Rourkela and Jaipur under the Viman Yojana.
