Odisha Police Nabs Choudwar Jailbreak Fugitive in Vrindavan

• Odisha Police arrested Madhukanta Kumar, one of two Choudwar jailbreak fugitives, from Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh.
• Kumar and Raja Sahani, both from Bihar, escaped Choudwar Circle Jail in Cuttack during Durga Puja last year (October 2-3).
• Kumar, from Begusarai district, was lodged in jail for dacoity and murder.
• He was found staying in Vrindavan under the alias Basu Pande.
• Odisha Police had offered a Rs 50,000 reward for information on the fugitives and assured the arrest of the second escapee soon.
