Police Inspector, Constable Arrested for Rs 45,000 Bribe in Latur

• An Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) operation led to the arrest of a police inspector and a constable in Udgir, Latur district.
• Inspector Rajkumar Pujari and Constable Rahul Nagargoje were apprehended for demanding and accepting a Rs 45,000 bribe.
• The complainant, a 43-year-old from Pune, reported that the officers demanded Rs 3 lakh to avoid action against his brother-in-law.
• A trap was set at a hotel where Nagargoje accepted the bribe, acting on Pujari's instructions.
• Both accused are in police custody until April 5, facing charges under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
