Private Lineman Dies of Electrocution in UP's Sultanpur During Maintenance Work

A 32-year-old private lineman, Rang Bahadur, died from electrocution in Arjunpur village, Sultanpur (UP).
•
The incident occurred on Friday evening while he was shifting an 11,000-volt power line.
•
Rang Bahadur received an electric shock despite initiating a shutdown to reconnect a jumper wire.
•
He sustained serious burns, fell from the pole, and was declared dead at Jaisinghpur community health centre.
•
Police identified the deceased as a resident of Hamjabad village, working with a contractor.
