Punjab Assembly paid tributes to distinguished journalist H K Dua and former minister Raghbir Singh.

Homage was also paid to former MLA Gurdeep Singh Bhaini, freedom fighter Dalip Singh, and former Punseed chairman Ashok Dhir.

Shiromani Akali Dal rebel MLA Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi requested tributes for Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was reportedly assassinated in a US-Israeli airstrike last week.

A two-minute silence was observed for all departed souls during the Budget Session.
