Punjab Govt Suspends Two Senior IAS Officers Immediately

• The Punjab government has suspended two senior IAS officers with immediate effect.
• Jaspreet Singh, MD of Punjab INFOTECH, and Kamal Kishor Yadav, Administrative Secretary of Industries and Commerce, are the suspended officers.
• Yadav also held additional charges for Investment Promotion and IT Industry.
• The suspensions were made under Rule 3(1) of the All India Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1969.
• Both officers will remain headquartered in Chandigarh and receive subsistence allowance during their suspension.
