Punjab to Launch On-Screen Marking for 2026 Board Exams

• Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) to introduce an on-screen marking system for March 2026 board exams.
• Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains announced Punjab will be among the first states to adopt end-to-end digital evaluation.
• The digital system allows teachers to evaluate scanned answer sheets on computers, with automatic mark calculation for faster, accurate results.
• System proved effective by evaluating 23,000 answer sheets swiftly and accurately during September 2025 Supplementary Exams.
• New answer sheets feature unique QR codes for secure scanning and seamless digital processing, ensuring fairness, speed, and accuracy.
