PWD Minister Orders Site Inspections After Janakpuri Biker Death

•Delhi PWD Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh directed officials to conduct regular site inspections following the Janakpuri biker death incident.
•The minister conducted a surprise inspection of a PWD drain remodelling project near Tilak Bridge, ITO.
•Directions were given to complete wall construction and for all officers to visit project sites.
•The ITO area faced waterlogging last year, prompting repairs on a connecting drain; discussions with MCD regarding the adjacent road are planned.
•The directive comes after Kamal Dhyani (25) died after falling into a pit dug for Delhi Jal Board work.
