Radio-collared Tiger Found Dead in MP Forest, Tenth in 45 Days
•A radio-collared adult tiger was found dead with a broken skull in Rani Durgavati Tiger Reserve (RDTR) in Sagar district.
•This marks the tenth tiger death in Madhya Pradesh since January 1, with officials attributing the latest fatality to a territorial fight.
•The approximately two-and-a-half-year-old tiger was re-wilded after being orphaned in Kanha Tiger Reserve and relocated to RDTR last month.
•Wildlife activist Ajay Dubey alleges gross negligence by the forest department, claiming delays in reporting the death and failure to monitor the radio-collared tiger.
•Dubey demands a high-level inquiry, disciplinary action, and a halt to cheetah relocation to RDTR until tiger safety is guaranteed.
