Rahul Gandhi Visits Historic Sivagiri Math in Kerala, Pays Obeisance to Sree Narayana Guru

• Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited the Sivagiri Math in Varkala, Thiruvananthapuram, on Saturday during his two-day Kerala trip.
• He was greeted by Swami Sathchidanda, president of the ashram founded by social reformer Sree Narayana Guru.
• Gandhi toured various parts of the Math associated with Narayana Guru and paid obeisance at the guru’s ‘samadhi’.
• On Friday, he attended an event in Kollam marking the centenary of a meeting between Mahatma Gandhi and Sree Narayana Guru.
• He was accompanied by party leaders K C Venugopal, P C Vishnunadh, and Chandy Oommen.
