Rajasthan Assembly Uproar Over LPG Price Hike; Opposition Walks Out

Opposition Congress MLAs protested LPG price hike in Rajasthan Assembly, demanding state subsidy for consumers.
•
Congress members Amit Chachan and Tikaram Jully highlighted the burden on common people and businesses due to rising LPG prices.
•
State Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sumit Godara stated over 61 lakh families benefit from the Chief Minister’s LPG Subsidy Scheme.
•
By December 2025, 5.68 crore cylinders were refilled under the scheme, with the state government providing Rs 1,051 crore in subsidy.
•
Forest Minister Sanjay Sharma also informed about the progress on the Kumbhalgarh Tiger Reserve project, approved in August 2023.
