Rajya Sabha Holidays March 19-20 for Festivals; Sits March 28-29 Weekend

•Rajya Sabha will observe holidays on March 19-20, 2026, due to various festivals.
•Festivals include Navaratri, Gudipadwa, and Ramadan, starting from March 19.
•To compensate for the cancelled sittings, the Council will sit on March 28-29, 2026.
•Chairman C P Radhakrishnan informed members about the rescheduling.
•The government accepted the request from some members to not hold sittings during the festivals.
