Rob Lowe Jokes About 'Tommy Boy' Credit Snub 30 Years Later

Actor Rob Lowe humorously called out his lack of onscreen credit in the 1995 comedy 'Tommy Boy' after three decades.

Lowe posted an "Open Letter" on X to Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison, calling the omission an "atrocity" and a "stain on the Paramount legacy."
•
He played Paul Barrish, the older stepbrother to Chris Farley's character, but was not officially credited.
•
Lowe jokingly requested a credit above the film's title: "and Rob Lowe as Paul."
•
Director Peter Segal stated in 2015 that the decision not to receive an onscreen credit was Lowe's own choice at the time.
