Rs 4.31 Cr Charas Seized in Thane; Two Arrested Under NDPS Act

•Police seized charas worth Rs 4.31 crore in the illicit market in Thane district, Maharashtra.
•Two individuals, Harshal Patel (19) and Sirajuddin Jalauddin Ahmed (26), were arrested.
•The contraband, packed in 13 packets, was seized from them in the Ambernath area on March 9.
•Arrests were made a day later under provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
•Further investigation into the case is currently underway.
