RSP Names Four Candidates for Kerala Polls; Fifth Seat Under Discussion

•RSP, an ally of the UDF, announced four candidates for the Kerala Assembly elections scheduled for April 9.
•The Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) had sought five seats, with the decision on the fifth seat still under discussion.
•Shibu Baby John will contest from Chavara, Ullas Kovoor from Kunnathur, Vishnu Mohan from Eravipuram, and Santhosh Badran from Attingal.
•The party is seeking the Kanhangad seat in Kasaragod district, conditional on Congress taking Thrikaripur from Kerala Congress.
•In the 2021 Assembly election, RSP contested from Mattannur, Eravipuram, and Chavara but failed to win any seats.
