Sabarimala Gold Loss Probe Nears End, Kerala DGP Confirms Progress

• Kerala DGP Ravada Chandrasekhar announced the Sabarimala gold loss case investigation is in its final stage.
• The Special Investigation Team (SIT) is conducting the probe under High Court supervision.
• The case involves alleged misappropriation of gold from Dwarapalaka idols and Sreekovil door frames at Lord Ayyappa temple.
• The SIT has arrested 12 individuals, including main accused Unnikrishnan Potty.
• Two former Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) presidents are also among those arrested.
