SBI Targets 10% Green Advances by 2030, Launches CHAKRA for Green Transition

State Bank of India (SBI) aims to increase its green advances portfolio to 7.5-10% by 2030.

25% of these green advances will be funded through green lines of credit.

SBI launched CHAKRA, a Centre of Excellence, to finance sunrise sectors like renewable energy and green hydrogen.

The bank hosted its sixth SBI Green Marathon in Mumbai, drawing over 10,000 participants.

SBI is committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2030 and Net Zero by 2055.
