SDRF Rescues Stranded in Uttarakhand Snowfall; Himachal Roads Closed

• Heavy snowfall in Uttarakhand's Nainital, Uttarkashi, and Tehri Garhwal districts left people and vehicles stranded.
• SDRF teams swiftly rescued stranded vehicles and passengers in Ramgarh-Mukteshwar, Dhanachuli Band, Badiyar village, and Lambgaon Motor Road.
• Approximately 20-25 vehicles were evacuated from Dhanachuli Band after snow clearance, and 75 people were shifted from Lambgaon Motor Road.
• Eight individuals returning from a wedding were rescued near Badiyar village on Mayali Road and brought to Ghansali.
• In Himachal Pradesh, 535 roads, including four National Highways, were closed due to heavy snowfall, with extensive snow-clearance operations underway.
