•Silver futures prices surged 1.24% to Rs 2,65,447 per kg on Friday in India.
•The rise is attributed to renewed uncertainty surrounding US trade policy.
•On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), May delivery silver increased by Rs 3,256 with a turnover of 1,208 lots.
•Analysts noted fresh positions built up by participants contributed to the price hike.
•Overseas, Comex silver futures also rose 1.63% to USD 83.58 per ounce.
