Speeding Bus Overturns Near Jammu: 2 Dead, 29 Injured in SUV Collision

•Two killed, 29 injured after a speeding passenger bus collided with an SUV and overturned on Jourian-Akhnoor road near Jammu.
•The accident occurred at Kotgarhi area when the bus, en route to Akhnoor from Jourian, collided head-on with a Scorpio vehicle.
•Locals and police initiated rescue operations, shifting 11 injured to Sub-District Hospital Akhnoor and 18 to GMC Hospital Jammu.
•GMC Principal Dr Ashutosh Gupta confirmed two persons were brought dead, adding that the admitted injured are stable and not in critical condition.
•Police have taken cognisance of the incident, and further investigation is currently underway.
