Surat Diamond Bourse to be World's Largest CVD Diamond Hub in 2 Years: Sanghavi

• Gujarat's Surat Diamond Bourse (SDB) is set to become the biggest hub for Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) diamonds within the next two years, according to Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi.
• Sanghavi stated that the center for both lab-grown and natural diamonds will shift from Mumbai to Surat due to the rapid development.
• Approximately 1,500 offices are expected to be operational within the next year, with 500 new offices opening in the next five months.
• The SDB is witnessing significant trade activity, with 2,800 to 3,200 people registering daily.
• Rough diamond traders will also be able to establish offices within four months, allowing for complete operations from rough to polished diamonds under one roof.
