Taiwan detects 4 PLA aircraft, 7 PLAN vessels near its territory

• Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence (MND) reported detecting four Chinese aircraft sorties and seven People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) vessels around Taiwan.
• Two of the four aircraft sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s central and southwestern Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ).
• This follows a previous detection of 23 Chinese aircraft sorties on Friday, with 17 crossing the median line into various ADIZ sectors.
• Earlier on the same day, 11 PLA aircraft sorties and 5 PLAN vessels were detected, with 9 aircraft crossing the median line.
• A Chinese surveillance drone was also reported to have entered Taiwan's southwestern ADIZ and moved towards the Pratas Islands.
