Tamil Nadu Class 12 Exams Begin: Over 8 Lakh Students Appear Across 3,412 Centers

Tamil Nadu State Board (DGE) Class 12 examinations commenced today, March 2, across the state.
•
A total of 8,27,475 students are appearing for the Plus Two public examinations at 3,412 centers.
•
The exams will continue until March 26, with language papers, including Tamil, being conducted on the first day.
•
Arrangements for seating, drinking water, and security have been made at all examination centers.
•
CBSE to reintroduce On-Screen Marking (OSM) for Class 12 Board exams from 2026 for enhanced efficiency and transparency.
