Telangana Launches Massive Health Screening for 4.6 Million Women SHG Members

•Telangana government to prepare health profiles for 4.6 million (46 lakh) women Self Help Group members.
•Each woman will undergo 30 diagnostic tests, with the program launching on International Women’s Day, March 8.
•Screenings will be conducted in three phases over approximately six months by state-run Telangana Diagnostics.
•This is part of a 99-day special development program starting March 6, focusing on various health aspects.
•Includes improving infant/mother health, hospital cleanliness, screening for non-communicable diseases, TB, and upgrading urban PHCs.
