MP approves Virangana Durgawati Tiger Reserve as 3rd cheetah habitat
- •Madhya Pradesh approved Virangana Durgawati Tiger Reserve in Sagar district as the state's third cheetah habitat.
- •The state cabinet, chaired by CM Mohan Yadav, granted the in-principle approval.
- •Kuno National Park and Gandhi Sagar Sanctuary are the first two cheetah habitats in Madhya Pradesh.
- •Kuno National Park currently houses 28 cheetahs, with 8 more expected from Botswana in January.
