Tigress Dies After Being Hit by Train Near Dudhwa National Park

• A tigress was killed after being hit by a train near the Bhikhampur halt in Dudhwa National Park’s buffer zone.
• The carcass of the tigress, estimated to be around five to six years old, was found by patrolling teams in the Mailani range.
• Dudhwa buffer zone Deputy Director Kirti Chaudhary stated it appears to be a train accident.
• A post mortem examination will be conducted as per NTCA guidelines to confirm the exact cause of death.
