TMC MPs Demand Parliament Debate on 'Voter Disenfranchisement' Amid SIR Row

Trinamool Congress MPs submitted notices in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to discuss "voter disenfranchisement".

The move targets the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, particularly in West Bengal, ahead of Assembly elections.

In West Bengal, 6.366 million names (8.3% of electorate) were deleted, and 6.006 million are "under adjudication" since SIR began.
