TN CEO Warns: Misleading AI Political Ads to be Taken Down in 3 Hours

•Tamil Nadu CEO Archana Patnaik warns against misleading or unlawful deepfake/AI-generated political content.
•Such content on party handles will be removed within three hours of detection or reporting.
•All AI-generated content must carry a clear label like 'AI-generated' covering 10% of display area or initial 10% duration for audio.
•Content misrepresenting identity, voice, or appearance without consent and misleading voters is strictly prohibited.
•Political ads on electronic/social media require prior certification from MCMC; deadlines apply for applications.
